So, what do you build?

At Broussard Woodworks, we specialize in custom handcrafted pieces designed for your space and lifestyle. Our core work includes custom built-ins, cabinets, and free standing furniture, but nearly every project is unique. If you can dream it, we will work with you to bring it to life.

How much do custom cabinets or built-ins cost?

The price depends on the size, materials, and design of your project. Every project is different, so we provide detailed estimates after discussing your needs and design ideas.

How long does a custom project take?

Smaller projects like a coffee table or bookshelf can take just a few weeks. Larger projects, like a full wall of built-ins, may take several weeks to a few months depending on the design, materials, and our current schedule. We’ll give you a timeline upfront so you know what to expect.

Do you design as well as build?

Absolutely. We work from your ideas, sketches, and/or inspiration photos, and we will refine the design to fit your space and needs. If you already have drawings from a designer or architect, we can build directly from those as well.

What materials do you use?

We typically work with solid hardwoods, high-quality plywoods, and durable finishes. Some of our favorite wood species to work with are beech, birch, cypress, maple, walnut, and white oak. The exact materials depend on your project and preferences, but our goal is always long-lasting craftsmanship.

Can you match existing furniture or cabinetry?

In many cases, yes. We can design a piece to blend seamlessly with your existing space, or we can build something completely new that stands out as a statement piece.

Do you install the finished pieces?

Yes. For built-ins, cabinets, and other projects that need to be secured, we handle installation to ensure a perfect fit. For furniture, we deliver the finished piece to your home.

What areas do you serve?

We are based in Lafayette, Louisiana, and serve the surrounding areas. If you’re nearby and looking for custom cabinets, built-ins, or furniture, we’d be happy to talk with you. We are also able to ship smaller handcrafted pieces across the country.
